The Middle East and North Africa

The Middle East is one of my favorite places to travel--the culture and history are fascinating, the people are friendly and hospitable, and the food is scrumptious. Although the Middle East is often negatively portrayed by the media, allow me to open your eyes to some new and enriching experiences. Not to mention, Middle Eastern travel can be quite cheap (that is, unless you're going to, say, Tel Aviv or Dubai).
