Django is an incredible restaurant for a date night or a girls'/guys' night out in Pigalle, Paris, right next to the Moulin Rouge. The menu features Mediterranean-style tapas dishes, cocktails, and wine, and the interior is intimate and cozy, with dim lighting and an Insta-friendly bar. My friend and I went around 8:45 pm on a weekday night and it was quite crowded, so we had to wait about fifteen minutes before being seated--but it was well worth it. Here are the dishes we got: beef koftas (Greek yogurt sauce, pistachio and raisin pesto, and mint; 14 euros), shakshouka (with confit red pepper, peeled tomatoes, organic eggs, and feta cheese; 14 euros), pasta calamarata with prawns (bisque sauce and bottarga; 19 euros), and creamy burrata (pea purée, wild garlic pesto, shaved rhubarb, mint, and basil; 12 euros). The pasta dish is one of the best I've had in recent memory, and was huge!
