My Favorite Cafes in London

Farm Girl

Nestled in Notting Hill, this Australian cafe is adorable. The ingredients are fresh, the ambience is cosy, and it’s perfectly situated for a post-brunch stroll along the gorgeous Portobello Road Market. My favorites are the pancakes and the Turkish eggs. As for the lattes, you can’t go wrong, but I’m a big fan of the charcoal one. Walk-ins only! (Btw, there are several Farm Girl locations scattered across the city center, but this one is the original, plus you can’t beat the Notting Hill ambience.)

Abuelo

Another Australian favorite, this time in Covent Garden. This place is tiny and unassuming, but it offers up the most gorgeous treats—think whipped mascarpone with figs and flower petals. Try a rose latte while you’re at it! I recommend booking in advance because it fills up quickly.

Peggy Porschen

When you Google the most Insta-friendly cafes in London, you’ll usually come across EL&N and Peggy Porschen. I prefer the latter as the design is fresher. There are two locations—one in Chelsea, and one in Belgravia. The Belgravia has the best outdoors seating and it’s perfect for a sunny day.
